We asked the Leicester City fans, would YOU take Danny Drinkwater back on loan from Chelsea in January ?

by Phil Holloway

Well, in our opinion here at 100%LCFC it would be a good move, he know how to create a threat, he can deliver a brilliant quick through ball for Vardy, and at the moment, we have a solid midfield with Mendy and Ndidi but there isnt much cut and thrust.

Silva has shown the odd flash, but to be honest, if we can, we are disappointed with the Portuguese midfielder. We hoped he would bring experience and guise to our midfield but for whatever reason – and surely we cant still be blaming the 14 second bungle can we – it just hasn’t happened.

Drinky has been left on the sidelines at Chelsea and has hardly had any game time and a move away from The Bridge this January looks highly likely, so why not bring him “home” ?

Anyway, it matters not what we think here at 100%LCFC, the ONLY opinion that matters is that of the fans… so here are the results !!

64% SAY YES

100%LCFC POLLS

In our TWITTER poll, the vote was that 63% of fans voted YES to bring him back !And on our FACEBOOK poll, the vote was almost identical with over 1700 votes and 64% of Foxes saying YES…. So it seems the fans have spoken… BRING DRINKY HOME !!

Here are just a few of the Fans Comments….

Roger Webster
I understand that Drinkwater used to argue a lot with the management team about tactics so they may not want him back anyway.

Tony Chamberlain
If he can rediscover his form then definitely. Silva almost certainly on his way, and possibly Iborra too.

Conor Rogers
I’d say the one position we don’t actually need is Cm, we need another rb if puel isn’t consistently playing Pereira there

Greg Topliss
Not in huge need for him but think he’d be useful say we went with 4141 formation with a CDM and two CMS. Would work well next to Mendy and Ndidi and have Madison on a wing and switch it about a bit more. Drinky has that real good passing ability that we miss sometimes. To pick that pass out to Vardy over the top again.

Neil Birchenough
In my opinion Silva is a better player i cannot understand why puel does not like him… to see him and indeed any player at thier best a run of games is required to attain match fitness so 60 mins then sub and leave out again is not a fair judgement

Dan Baxter
He should of never left, leaving the club that gave him everything to chase money and warm the bench for Chelsea 🙄 we need a striker/ goal scorer!

Karl Chester
Puel can play him as our new striker lol

Daniel John Parry
I would probably say yes as long as he’s not forgotten how to play football

John Bird
Don’t need him. Not good enough to hold a place anymore

Jerry Wesley
Adrien Silva as good but doesn’t play him so why Drinkwater ?

Mark Foran
Why do we need a player who cannot get into Chelsea reserves. Kante made him look good

Darren Clarke
Desperately need a player in cm who can pass a ball , Ndidi and Mendy are to alike
