So, we are finally signing someone! Castagne from Atalanta! He is a Belgium Right Back (Who can play Left Back from what we have heard) and has already signed for us, but we are confirming it after the International break, are you happy with this Foxes Fans?!

Timothy Castagne: Leicester in talks with Atalanta over signing full-back | Football News | Sky Sports

Rumour has it we are signing him for around £21 Million, which is another decent amount for Leicester, but what can we expect from him when he plays?
In his 75 league appearances for Atalanta, he has scored 5 goals, and set up many goals with a lot of clean sheet under his belt. The 24 year old looks like a good player… But we ask you, is this a risk buy?

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say on Castagne…
“He looks like a very good, young talent. But i have 2 concerns with him. The first one is that he has never played in the Premier League before, so we are taking a massive risk in trusting him to come into the first team and play quality football. We have seen some of the best players through risks though, like Mahrez, Kante and Riccy P… But we have seen some wasted talent come in through the likes of Silva, Slimani, Iborra, Ghezzel and a handful more. We seems to sign 1 great player for every 4 players that are new to the Premier League. My other concern is that he is a Right Back, with some experience at Left Back. We do not need another RB, so he is 100% coming in to play Left Back, and without Premier League experience i am unconvinced by this signing. I hope he does well for us, but time will tell…”

We asked you, the fans, about him joining Leicester this transfer window, and this is what you had to say on him…!

Must be honest i dont know much about the player but lets give him all the support he needs welcome to our club

Alex Mason
Good versatile player to have in the squad, shouldn’t have been signed as a chilwell replacement though, the squads still lacking a natural proven defensive left back

Chris Townsend
Good square peg for a round hole. Heard we might be putting in an offer for Origi from Liverpool to be our back up keeper.

Paul Holland
Good player but it’s a left back we need. Hoping it’s a smokescreen for Tagliafico.

Johnathan Dreijers
Good to have a player that can play left or right side, like albrighton has been used in the past. Could give opposition a tactical nightmare.

T.J. Chapman
He’ll be a good signing from what I’ve seen of him (only seen him play a few times tho).

Adam Cave
Just so everyone knows Castagne is the bloke on the floor

Andrew Turlington
Looks promising

Matthew Gregory Medler
Seems decent but we need an out and out left back

Leicester City: Castagne set to join - Only two Atalanta departures more expensive | Transfermarkt

Martin Tibbetts
Good signing that. Now we need a centre back…

Alex Till
A good bit of business. Better than BEN.

Jamie Bradley
Decent player but would have preferred someone who’s a left back is a primary position but time will tell

Dom Bray
Also Justin can play LB too and did to good effect in the 4 0 home win over villa this season and all of the season before that he played lb at luton and got goals and assists galore albeit in league 2 so with castagne we have options to move them around once ricky p is bk. Would have been nice to sign a left footed lb , still 5 weeks of the window to go yet so that could still happen but probably wont now as think Rodgers will use young Luke Thomas and Fuchs there as/if/when needed.

Watch his highlights down below and see why Leicester are interested in signing him! Let’s hope he is a good player for us, He is going to have a lot of expectations to live up to…!
