Kelechi Iheanacho produced an assist and then a stunning winner in the last 10 minutes of the match as we can from behind to beat Palace 2-1 and strengthen our position in 3rd place!

Palace took the lead in the 12th minute when Eze expertly played Zaha, who tucked it pasted Kasper.

A well organised Palace defence frustrated us for the rest of the first half, but equalised 5 minutes after the break as Nacho set-up Castagne for a thumping finish.

Palace nearly regained their lead, with Benteke being denied a tap-in by a tackle from Jonny Evans before heading straight at Kasper Schmeichel.

But instead it was us who grabbed an 80th minute winner, and in real style as Iheanacho controlled Evans’ ball over the top, cut inside and hit an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net for his 9th goal in 7 PL games!

The Foxes remain third but now have 62 points, leaving them seven clear of fifth-placed West Ham United in the battle for a top-four finish. Palace stay 13th with 38 points.

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say on the must needed win last night!
“Last night was a close one, but a win nevertheless! it was much needed, we needed to get all 3 points, this is what makes or breaks clubs, as we saw last season, so if we can pick up some more good points this season with there being a few matches left, this is how we define our season again! Will we make champions league? lets hope so! and lets be prepared this time and make some good progress in the competition!”
