It’s been the saga of the last two transfer windows… and is fast becoming another saga in this transfer window ! Mahrez wants to go. We all know it. So we asked the Leicester City fans…

“Is it TIME TO SELL MAHREZ ? Man City are offering £60m for Mahrez… plus around £15m in add ons… He looks set to go this time, comment YOUR views as Man City close in on the deal !”

Here are the views from the Fans….

Leon Marvin
“Gray sat in the wings and Kapustka coming back from loan yes they ain’t Mahrez BUT give them a chance there is and will only be 1 Mahrez to which we should all be pleased he did what he did for us! 400k to 75 million nothing else needs to be said”

Marcus Cobley
“I will shed a tear when the greatest player ever to have worn our shirt in my lifetime leaves us. You just don’t replace geniuses like this man. I fear for us. We only have two great players and he is one of them.”

Nathaniel Tinkerman Marshall
“Good luck mahrez hope you look forward to becoming a part time player. Very skilful player when he turns up but we made the player for who is today and for him to skive off because he couldn’t get what he wants doesn’t deserve to be here. Enjoying the bench riyad. Thanks for the memories.”

Debbie Stanworth
“I was hoping that he would go to a big club abroad – been brilliant for us – hopefully no-one else will be leaving”

Denise Higgins
“It needs to go through through this time to avoid the disruptions of last season which led to our poor end to tbe season. Sad to see him go though”

Andy Bird
“Well without doubt and even taking into account him being hot and cold most weeks , one of the best players ever to grace our place , will be massively missed .. but ! 65 mill + is amazing money ! Thanks you ryhad you’ve been amazing”

Mark Unwin
“Overall he’s done a good shift for the club, sad to see him go but it wasn’t going to go any other way. At least it’s not in the final hours of the window this time”

Steve Brydon
“Top quality player without doubt, but had a poor season last year. Is he better than Sterling,Sane,David Silva & De Bruyne on last seasons showing ???? Because that’s who he will be competing with !”

Thomas Hands
“He’s done more then enough for leicester in the same he’s been here and I thank him for what he’s done but he’s become to argent thinking he’s bigger then the club”

Mark Winstanley
“Don’t understand why they want him, Bernardo Silva is phenomenal and only 23. Good luck to him though”.

Shane Smith
“Good luck to him and let’s hope Leicester get a replacement because grey isn’t a finished product yet”

Ben Fountain
“Good luck to him! Served us well, now let’s move on and bring some new blood through.Look forward in life not back!”

Aaron Gunn
“I just can’t believe some of you. We’ll not get many players like Vardy, Mahrez, Kante, etc, to join our team. People use to slate Joachim and Heskey… Then we had about 5-years with barely anyone to international calibre, in which time, we went down to the old 3rd division… Get a grip, he’s a Prem match winner when on-song… Be dearly missed from me, but, if it’s time to go, then go on son… He’s earned it”

Dom Bray
“Good luck to him….the money is good…..time to move on would only get the same situation every window. Gave us the dream ain’t gonna hate on him. He will have to step up EVERY game at man city though ….no taking a breather there and hoping your rb does all the defensive work for you”

Ash Allen
“Great skills when he keeps his mind on the job. However his dummy spit over the no transfer in January showed how unprofessional he is. He had a contract that he should have honoured rather than dropping his bottom lip. Thanks for what he did in the last 2 seasons but time to say bye bye. It’s a team game and know room for prima donnas.”
