Mahrez Looks Set To GO !

The BEST combination of players in the Premier League this season was statistically Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez…. that is a FACT !

Marez set Vards up for 7 league goals, which is more than any other combination of players. FACT !

Add to that fact that Mahrez himself scored 12 goals in the Premier league – here is another stat – Mahrez is the ONLY player to assist in 10+ goals and score 10+ goals in both 2016/17 and 2017/18 …. and you will see why Leicester fans value him so highly.

Oh and Jamie Vardy, well he has scored 20 Premier League goals…. again !

So you can see why it is a deadly partnership.

Now here is the bad news for the Foxes Fans…. The vultures are already surround Mahrez. We all know that Mahrez himself wants to go, and once a suitable figure is in the hat, we know it will happen. But what IS a suitable figure.

In January, Man City put several bids in, all of which made the fans angry, especially when compared to the huge fees that other players had been transfered for. Bear in mind, Mahrez has won the Premier League and was PFA Player of the year and most fans at Leicester think Mahrez SHOULD be valued at £75m+

The season may have only just finished, and Man City have just done a lap of honour in an open top bus, but already a Bid of £65m seems to be rumoured.

It still doesn’t sound enough, but at some point, it will probably be best for all concerned if Magic Mahrez finally makes this move.

At the end of the home game against Arsenal, which saw Mahrez score in the final moments of the game, it seemed a fitting tribute to his time at Leicester. As the players applauded the fans at the end, the fans chanted Riyad’s name, and the player seemed to be waving goodbye.

As they say, it seems all good things do need to come to an end.
