A first Premier League hat-trick by Kelechi Iheanacho helped Leicester City to a 5-0 win as Paul Heckingnottom’s reign as Sheffield United interim manager got off to a losing start, and a bad one at that.

Nacho put Leicester in front in the 39th minute, tapping in Jamie Vardy’s square ball into an empty net.

The Foxes doubled their advantage after the 64th minute through Perez, who fired into the bottom-left corner from 20 yards out.

Nacho latched onto a clever pass by Vardy to finish past Ramsdale for his second goal five minutes later before completing his hat-trick with a powerful low drive.

With 10 minutes to go, Vardy’s shot was turned into his own net by Ethan Ampadu to complete the scoring and finish the match with our equal biggest home win in the Premier League 5-0!

Leicester remain third, 15 points behind leaders Manchester City.
A seventh consecutive defeat leaves Sheff Utd in 20th on 14 points.

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s sam had to say on the win against Sheffield United…
“It was a good match, but i think the majority of the Leicester fans would’ve expected no less than a win to struggling bottom of the league Sheff Utd. But who thought 5 goals to the good?! Not only did we dominate them, Nacho looked on fire again! He has been quality for us in the past few games, and whatever Rodgers has said to him, he has took in his stride, and if you ask me, he has to be one of the 1st names on the team sheet at the moment! Not only did he play well but it was good to see Perez come back into the squad after injury and play well and get a well deserved goal.
Now we have to move onto our next fixture, which is a massive match against league leaders Manchester City, and whilst they’ve probably won the league, it would be nice to try and pick up a point against them!”
