In his first and only season at Leicester, Cambiasso made 31 appearances and scored 5 goals, and helped us stay up in our first season in the Premier League in a while!
Rumours have it that he helped the coaching team and staff to stay up, using his professional tactics from his time at Real Madrid, Inter Millan and his experience from International football!

Esteban Cambiasso announces he is leaving Leicester City ...

He came to us from Inter Milan, on 315 appearances for them and 41 goals, a good conversion rate for a top player in a top team…!
He also made 52 appearances for Argentina, a good amount for his International club!
We managed to land this iconic legend because he wanted some time in the Premier League before he ended his professional career, and

We were all happy when he signed, and it took him some time to develop and get use to the Premier League, but when he did it was one key reason we stayed up, what a player!!

This is what you, the fans, had to say on him and his short time at Leicester…!

Scott Silver
Without him we would never of survived relegation which led to champions the following season. Simples….

Colin Bourne
Class player but highly over-rated when at Leicester. Was pretty much ever-present in a City team that spent three quarters of the season rooted to the bottom of the division.
It was the Huth signing that kept us up imo. We stopped leaking goals like a sieve.

Paul Harriman
He brought professionalism to the squad off the pitch and showed us how to lead on it

Joanna Astley
Just amazed to see him play in our shirt. Very influential with all he’s done in his career .

West Brom vs Leicester: Esteban Cambiasso is vital to our survival ...

Tony Martin
Brill of a player I used to love watching him play he was so cool at what he did

Kevin Paul Darby
Honoured to see him in a Leicester shirt.

Shaun Brooks
Different class of player a pleasure to watch never panicked just a different level of player

Adam Callaghan
He bossed the game, he really made the team steady and all that experience helped Drinkwater no end.
If you ever watched him at the games he was always being a leader, played a HUGE part in keeping us up that season.

Simon Hall
Such a magnificent and humble man who exuded quality at all times .

Pete Miles
He’d be the ultimate interview…..make it happen!!

Mick Starkey
Bet he wished he’d stayed another season!!

He made some amazing memories at Leicester, but i think we all remember this goal he scored against Manchester United in that 5-3 win, that looked impossible to come back from…But we did! What a match to witness in person… Where you there?! Watch his goal here!
