As we all know, Nottingham Forest beat Huddersfield in a 1-0 win at Wembley to secure them a place in the Premier League, their first time in top flight football in over 20 years, and we are all looking forward to a top-flight derby, right?!

Anyway, the latest rumour to appear is that we are interested in Manchester United’s James Garner, who has been on loan to Nottingham Forest, and helped them secure a place in the Premier League for the 22/23 season, but do you think we will get him!?

The latest rumour [Source: Leicestershire Live] is the Brendan Rodgers is keeping tabs on him since he’s had a good season long loan at Forest…

Facts about James Garner

James Garner is a English Midfielder who is 21 years old.

He has been at Manchester United since 2008, working his way through the youth team and back in 2018 he broke into the first team there, making only 2 appearances so far.

Back in 2020-21 he joined Watford on a loan spell, playing 20 matches for them and only getting 1 assist in his time there, then towards the back end of the season he joined Nottingham Forest on a loan, playing 20 matches for them to end the season on, scoring 4 goals and he earned himself a place in their team on a season long loan for the 21/22 season…

In the season he has just played, He scored 4 goals for them in 44 appearances, and also setting up 8 goals, contributing 12 G+A in 44 appearances, which is a good amount from a young Midfielder.

Fans thoughts on him

“I think he could be a great addition to leicester, we need someone who wants to play regular football who understands the commitment we need. We lacked a key midfielder last season until KDH came in, and with Tielemans on his way out, maybe Garner can come in and do a solid job for us” – Sam

“Yes he looks like a decent player, but i think he might sign for forest now. I think he will at least do another season with Nottingham Forest, whether he will sign a contract there or stay for another season on loan, who knows, but i think he has found his place at forest, and with them being in the premier league next season it will be hard for us to get him” – Jake
