Wow, what a busy couple of days for players leaving and players coming in. We’re well under way with starting to sign and sell our players, with the likes so far of Maddison joining Spurs & Castagne joining Juventus, we’re now starting to hear some players come in!

So, Conor Coady, a very decent option for us, is he too good for Championship level?

He started his career at Liverpool, getting some loan spells out to Huddersfield and Sheffield United, but it was Wolves that gave him his big chance, and he made just under 300 appearances for Wolves since joining them back in 2015.

He got a loan spell out last season to Everton, making 24 appearances in his season loan spell, but he didn’t justify himself enough for Sean Dyche’s Everton to sign him permanently.

TalkSport reports “Wolves have rejected Leicester’s Initial bid for Coady, but are confident on signing him with a second bid”

Reports have it that he has a buy-out-clause from Wolves for £4.5 Million, and Leicester have put in a initial bid of £4 Million, so we can only assume we will put in another bid for £4.5 Million to confirm our first signing of the season!

This is what LFTV’s Sam said on Coady
“I would have took him in the Premier League, in the Championship? A no brainer. He has been in and around English football his whole career, playing in the Premier League and also the Championship, so for me and his price tag he is a must get. I could even see him becoming club captain, a very vocal and commanding player, and for me it would a great place to start. I can only assume with him coming in, this is guaranteeing that Evans will NOT sign, and even someone like Faes might be on his way out of the doors…”
