Premier League Match Report: Leicester City 2 - 4 Newcastle - Fosse Posse

This Tuesday we are back in Premier League action against a very on form Manchester United team, and we are looking to bounce back after losing 4-2 at home to a bottom half side Newcastle… Can we do it?!

We have played Man United a total of 29 times in the Premier League… Winning only 2 of those matches, losing 19 and drawing 8, it’s safe to say that they have a very good record against us, maybe we can add another win to our tally tomorrow?!

Last time we played was on Boxing Day, and it ended all square, with Barnes scoring and Man United scoring an own goal…

Leicester last 5 matches: Won 2, drawn 1, lost 2
Man United’s last 5 matches: won 4, drawn 1

Manchester United have been on top form, and are looking to get another win to secure 2nd place, or even upset Manchester City who look to have won the league, but not just yet. We are looking to secure top 4 this season, but will it happen? with the FA Cup this weekend, we might have our eyes on different goals, playing for silverware and not position this season…

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say about the match…
“It’s all well and good saying that we are going to win, but realistically i can’t see i happening, we’ve played them a good amount of times, and like a lot of clubs it’s hard to get a solid win at Old Trafford. There form has come back in recent seasons, and this season they have been solid, so if we can come away with a point that is a massive result for us. We need key players to stand up and make the difference, which is what we lacked vs Newcastle. If we lose the plot again we could have another Newcastle on our hands, but against a top side…”
