It's not easy' – Brendan Rodgers assesses if Leicester City trio can play together - Leicestershire Live

Did you know?

Jamie Vardy has scored 8 goals in 10 Premier League matches against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, more top-flight goals then any other player has netted against sides managed by the Spaniard. This includes his 2 hat-tricks against them, back in December 2016 and September 2020, a year ago this time, can he do it again?!

Leicester have won 3 of their last 5 Premier League matches at home against the reigning champions (Losing 2), beating Liverpool 3-1 last season.

Man City’s Torres has been involved in 6 goals in his last 6 PL appearances (5 goals and 1 assist) as many as he did in his first 21 matches in the competition (4 goals and 2 assist)

None of the last 11 league meetings between Leicester and Man City have finished level, with the Foxes winning 7to the champions’ 11… Can we add to this total this weekend?!

We have played Man City a total of 20 times in the PL, winning 7, losing 11 and drawing 2, winning only 1 match in the last 5, losing the other 4… Hopefully we can change that against the Champions this weekend!

This is what Leicester Fan Tv’s Sam had to say about the match coming up…
“I’m looking forward to playing Man City this weekend, but we need to put in a good performance. Personally i am yet to see the team put in a solid 7 or 8 out of 10 performance from the begging 3 matches, and as we saw against a good west ham side we got destroyed, so we need to hit the ground running this weekend if we want to come away with at least a point, but i have every faith that the boys want to go out and perform their hearts out again in front of the fans at the KP!”

How do you think we will do against the Champions this weekend? Keep up to date on Leicester Fan Tv’s socials this week for exclusive content brought to you by the content team!
