Lennon Looks [un]likely

Well as it stands at 19.03 on transfer deadline night, what excitement... it looks like Aaron Lennon will NOT be joining  Leicester City.... which is a shame we think as the kid has some real talent. All is NOT lost yet as its believed that Leicester can match the high wages this young man is looking for. Teams such as Hull and Stoke seem to be out of the running due to the high demands, but EVERTON appear to be the late runners in signing the Spurs player on loan. Huth signs for Leicester

It is Transfer Deadline day, and Leicester have made a loan signing...  we have signed Stoke City defender Robert Huth on loan until the end of the season. Offside, Keeper fumble and OG Nightmare

So it was our "big Day Out"... but in all honesty we needed some points to help our critical situation. Did Nigel Pearson set us up well ? Many fans think not, but the second half we went in 3 goals down thanks to a clear offside but great finish by Van Persie, followed by Schwarzer fumbling and gifting a tap in followed by poor Wes heading in another own goal. So we fancy ourselves in the FA Cup now ! Yes the league is the most important of course it is... but with Villa in the next round we are only 2 wins away from a trip to Wembley With 10 minutes to go at White Hart Lane not one City fan was dreaming of this... but as the old saying goes... Disappointing Stoke Defeat

We all went with very high expectations today to the King Power in the hope that a record signing and some recent performances the lads would bring home the bacon.
