Our FAN poll shows that around 35% of Leicester fans are sure that SHAKEY is the man to take us forward, but that leaves a lot of fans either undecieded or thinking he is NOT the man.30% said NO he was NOT the right man, and 35% of fans are just not sure…. in our OWNERS we trust ! They have NOT let us down in the past and have been brilliant in making the right decisions ….

Well, we hear that Shakey is to open talks with the owners, he is meeting them we hear at the Monaco Grand Prix for a few days to sort things out. His record as interim manager, was good, very good, and if we have a whole season of that sort of figures we would be back up challangeing for Europe, which we think is now our ambitions.

The question to fans still is, how many players do you think we will keep over the summer ? We know Wasa has gone, but he was never really part of the plans, but there will be some who want to move “on to bigger clubs” and some who we may well think “are not good enough” to help us progress…. is this the summer where major player changes will happen and if so, is Shakey the man to sort that out and help bring in some fresh talent.

Here are some of the fans views :

Jason Clare
“Big name please, like Alex said Simone wants to manage in this league & his knows about us especially after CL. Apparently has admiration for vardy too.
Why not as one of top ten riches clubs show the desire to fight for the top again. We know we are capable of achieving this whether people think we over achieved or not. Just need the right person at the helm & better buys in summer .”

Matt Clarke
“After all Shakespeare has done for this club as manager and coach he deserves a chance. For all of those saying he has no plan B, what would you call the second half against Atletico Madrid? Looked like a plan B to me.”

Edd Wilcox
“I like the bloke I think he knows the players well but we need a new injection we don’t want to go stale, a decent big name would attract big names, the owners want high finishes and champions league, but we all know what happened last time we doubted the manager in his first proper season”

Thomas Kristoffer
“Fans are fickle. And because there are so many of us, we’ll never all agree on something like this.
I was embaressed the other night in the drubbing by spurs. But I was embarrassed by the result, not the performance. I felt the players still played with heart. Spurs were just class.
I want someone in charge who makes me proud of my team. I want someone in charge who is honest and understands the fans involvement (Ranieri did this very well).
The owners are masters of hospitality and thinking of the fans. I know they’ll make the right decision.
Sorry for the long post LTID”

Ross Elsby
“Absolutely. People saying no….who would you want as a REALISTIC choice? Maybe pep, Zidane, konte, maybe Ericsson again? Big money contract and not likely to do a better job than what we have now. Surely he deserves the chance he did after all achieve his goal when taking over which was premiership survival….it didn’t look like ranieri (a big name) was going to achieve that despite his heroics the season before”

Matt Whelband
“Problem is think we need a name to attract players. Got a feeling we gonna lose lots and probably our identity. Mahrez (most frustrating player ever) but only creative person we have. Vardy and kasper too … shame we missed our chance last transfer window to really establish ourselves in the everton bracket”

Alan Dutton
“One bad week and everyone is putting the man down, when we were winning it was give him the job, after one week it’s all changed, if we forget about Spurstow ( hard to do I know) but we should have had a point at Man City and 3 points yesterday but for bad refereeing”

Eddie Bland
“As much as he deserves it, from a selfish point I’m saying no ! Would rather keep him as a no 2 than risk losing him if we get off to a bad start !”

Daniel Sidwell
“Shakey is the right man he’s lost a few he’s comeplete success he’s made us have champions league u cannot keep changing managers cuz the players will not settle”

Neil Andfred O’connell
“Sorry but not experienced enough for the premiership. A choice for the right reasons will be made.”

Paul McQuillin
“He won games when it mattered gave the team a direction and secured our premier status and above all of that the players we would like to keep want him to stay”

Helen Smith
“stay, every big name was small to begin with, they are not just born or made”

Rose L Davies
“yes. Some things money can’t buy.”
