Good Season ? Bad Season ?

We think in the end it was a good season, perhaps after the amazing previous season it felt a little damper, but add in the brilliant fun and games we all enjoyed in the Champions League on our Dilly Dong European Tour, we feel it will be a season that is fondly remembered.

But not for the League matches, and the end of season defeats to Man City, Spurs and then a pretty average 1-1 draw with Bourmouth, most fans will be pleased to escape the season without a worse position than 12th in the League…. if we are honest, forget we WON the league last season, take the other 130 years of club history and 12th ranks up there as one of the best seasons… we dont know the stats, but there probably is not THAT many seasons we have finished as high statistically over the clubs history.

So we should be happy right ? Well more than a few fans now have higher expectations, and to be honest we think the clubs owners do. Remember how we all sniggered when they said they wanted Leicester City to be in the Top 5 within 5 years, well we already did that, BUT we think they want us to become an established top 5 club.

These players again have proved they CAN be brilliant, but they have also shown a few other poorer qualities this season, not least the very poor run of form which sadly resulted in Ranieri being sacked.

So the 1-1 draw with a mixed up Bournemouth side was nothing to shout about, indeed THEY finished higher in the league than US !

This summer will be one of the most interesting closed seasons in Leicester Citys history. Forget flying to LA and Stockholm for pre season matches, it is back to Burton Albion and MK Dons… quite rightly, and it will allow “the manager” to focus on getting new players in, and some out, and forging a new look Leicester City for next season.

The 100%LCFC team were of course down at the King Power yesterday and bring you the chat from outside the Blues Bar hereย  – 100%LCFC Editor Phil asks Tom & Lee “is 12th good enough ?”

FANS VIEWS

Mark Patrick Scoley
“I think it shows how far we have come that I am disappointed with 12th and not a top 10 finish …”

Katrina Colburt
“I think if we were winning & it wasn’t still to the bone at the end where it could of gone either way he would of put him on. Before the band wagon starts everyone would be moaning if we had lost, something else I suppose to moan about. Very disappointed for Wassa all the same maybe a nice touch would of been to play him for the 1st 27 minutes but as others have stated Shakey doesn’t do sentiment…. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ thanks to the big guy top bloke, all the best ”

Brent Hope
